"Hot Dice, Shanghai Nights"
Held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Coolum on Saturday, May 14, 2011, this year’s Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation’s annual Black Tie Gala was the Foundation’s most successful to date.
Hot Dice Shanghai Nights added some captivating and high-stake excitement to the night. In a nod to the golden era of Shanghai, the Pavilion at the Hyatt Regency Coolum was transformed into a modern and sophisticated interpretation of China’s most exciting and vibrant city. It was a lavish evening of live entertainment and dancing, high-rollers casino, raffles, auctions, delicious food and fun.
Prominent and entertaining local radio identities Todd & Sami from Hot 91.1 hosted this year’s event with delightful television personality Sofie Formica. Guests came from as far as Sydney and Brisbane and local business identities, heath and medical specialists and sporting personalities also attended in support of the worthy cause. Adding to the Shanghainese atmosphere the evening even attracted some of the Sunshine Coast’s finest Taipans and Tai-Tais!
