It’s almost PINKTOBER® for Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation time again!
Whilst the month of October is recognised nationally as breast cancer awareness month, PINKTOBER® for Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation is the Sunshine Coast’s local breast cancer appeal aimed at raising funds for Sunshine Coast families living with breast cancer.
In the past five years the Foundation’s PINKTOBER® appeal has raised almost $160,000. With the help of our generous Sunshine Coast community this year we would like to raise $50,000.
Encourage your friends and family, school or business to participate in PINKTOBER® now.
Take advantage of some exclusive offers across the Coast, donate on-line, purchase merchandise, host a fundraiser or attend an event supporting PINKTOBER® for Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation.
Breast cancer does not discriminate. It could be your wife, mother, sister, friend, daughter, neighbour, aunt, niece or cousin.

Hosting your own PINKTOBER® fundraiser such as
- A pink lemonade morning tea or luncheon;
- A High Tea or cake stall with all cakes to have Pink Icing
- a crazy hair day at school or work
- a pink cosmo cocktail party
- trivia night, car wash or pink sports day
Get your company involved in PINKTOBER® activities
- Wear pink feather boas (or pink bras & lingerie over your clothes) in the office for a day, week and raise money
- Office challenge i.e. every Friday in October have a Friday challenge or pink activity
- PINKTOBER® decoration challenge i.e. offices/work places decorate their site or cars, trucks etc. in pink (we can upload the pics on our website)
- Donate a % of sales from the day's activity to the Foundation
- Employee fundraisers with employers to match
- Sell Foundation merchandise in-store.
