Zoë Sparks

Zoë is the Managing Director of Spectacular Events Pty Ltd and Travelworld Mooloolaba. Having worked in the travel industry for the past seventeen years, Zoë started her own business nine years ago. Her travel agency is now regarded as one of the leading Sunshine Coast travel centres, having being inducted into the Sunshine Coast Excellence Awards “Hall of Fame” in 2005.

The mother of two was named a 2006 & 2005 Telstra QLD Business Owner Award finalist and was the 2004 Sunshine Coast “Business Woman of the Year”.
Zoë is also well known in her local community. She was appointed onto the TAFE Institute Council in mid 2007 and has been heavily involved with the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network for the past six years.

Zoë admits she owes much of her success to her passion for the travel industry, surrounding herself by the right people and getting involved with her local community on the Sunshine Coast. She believes she has managed at last to achieve an acceptable life / work balance, thanks to her two young sons and supportive family and friends.

In recent times, her new focus has been to ‘give back’ to the community where she has primarily lived since 1988. Over the past few years, the staff of Travelworld Mooloolaba have raised funds for a variety of charities focused on assisting families with breast cancer, but she is excited that all funds raised through the CMBCF will stay local and assist Sunshine Coast families.

She is passionate about making a difference and is delighted to be able to use her organisation, small business and ‘attention to detail’ skills to assist and contribute to a fantastic cause.
