Michael is the Managing Director of dtb! Advertising. Dtb!/down to business is a marketing, advertising, public relations and design group. Dtb! is the largest advertising agency based on the Sunshine Coast , having been on the coast over 13 years. They work with clients across a diverse range of industries, including Tourism, Health Care, Property, Mining, Government and Retail.

After graduating from the University of NSW, Michael worked for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Linfox Transport, Uncle Benís of Australia and Lion Nathan Australia. Within these companies Michael worked across many disciplines, namely Finance, Sales, Marketing and General Management. During this time he held several management positions which included General Manager Lion Premium Beer Company and Managing Director Swan Brewery.

Michael is married and has three young, very energetic children, that keep him highly active and focused on the importance of family. He is a also a passionate South Sydney and St. Kilda supporter. Michael lost his own father to cancer and is committed to seeing the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation established for the long term benefit of families in the Sunshine Coast community.
