Breast cancer sufferers on the Sunshine Coast will have a new means of assistance following the establishment of the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation Inc.

The Foundation was launched at an emotional reception at Ebb Waterfront Dining and Cellar on April 24, by Cindy Mackenzie’s husband, John O’Leary and their two daughters, Gemma and Hannah.

More than just a charity organisation, the Foundation will offer financial as well as other practical and emotional support to breast cancer sufferers and their families on the Coast.

Funds raised by the Foundation will be securely invested and the income used to assist breast cancer sufferers and their families cope with the financial and emotional consequences of being diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment.
